Jill Ohayon (Social Media Manager/Dramaturg)
Jill is a librettist, actor and singer. After working three years as a human rights lawyer, she made the decision to pursue her love of writing at Tisch’s GMTWP. (Best decision ever.) She was the recipient of the Council for Canadian American Relations Award as well as the Shubert Foundation Scholarship. Her works have been performed at Joe’s Pub, The Tank, the African Grove Theatre and Union Hall. Her musical The Garden Bridge, written with composer Andy Li, was workshopped at The Bring About with Jennifer Jancuska, Resident Choreographer of Hamilton on Broadway, and was recently selected for residency at Casa Uno. It has been a finalist for the Manhattan School of Music Lab Series, the Aubrey & Marla Dan Fund and the CreateTheatre Series. Her musical Turbulence was produced at the IHRA Festival in December 2024. This year, she was selected for Prospect’s Musical Theatre Lab. Jill is a member of Maestra, the Dramatists Guild, and MUSE.
